An alien-like creature wrapped in plastic and rope was found in the Oldman River bottom and dragged into downtown Lethbridge. As it dried out, it began to moan. Participants (like local resident Sarah Christiansen in photo 2) were able to utilize a device to attempt to interpret what was being communicated. The thing was that nobody could be sure that the interpreted message was positive or violent, and so for everyone’s safety, the beast was left wrapped and bound.
