Roundhouse Planetarium Experiment

What might happen if one creates an entire universe in a highly volatile and fragile area? In constructing an informal image of the 9 planets (I have a very difficult time saying goodbye to Pluto) on the floor of an abandoned warehouse/roundhouse, and then abandoning this universe and leaving it to its own devices and elements. I am setting out to explore what might occur.

To create this, I used mostly found materials: sand (some of which was dyed to create colour-distinguishment), coal, rusty steel implements, brick, pigeon / crow community waste (feathers, feces, dead birds, nesting materials), grass, and tempura powder.

The goal is to create the solar system as a statement of contemplation between the literalist and day-age creation theories. I will then, return and document 6 times, the effects of weather, animals, humans, light, etc on this work.
